Born and raised in Lisbon, Martim is a Lisboeta passionate about the richness and history of Portuguese gastronomy.
He got a bachelor and a masters in Law and worked as a lawyer at a major law firm for a few years, but in 2016 he decided to take a chance out of the corporate world.
Since then, he has been specializing in Portuguese history and gastronomy, which he considers to be two faces of the same coin. He loves the Portuguese people’s way of life and their deeply entrenched habit of spending long hours around a table with family and friends.
In Lisbon and its surrounding areas Martim provides different kinds of experiences, his main focus being curated food tours, culinary experiences and off the beaten path activities.
Recently, he partnered with Luísa to expand the offerings you can enjoy at MesaLuísa, where he will be both your host and your guide on Portuguese history, culture and gastronomy.
